It is time to make sure that we're falling in line with everything necessary to place us on the up-and-up. It's incredibly important to always stop, bask in quietude, and listen to our internalizations so that we're checking in with our inner world in order to minimize its potential to have chaotic results in our outer world. The way that I like to do this is through journaling, meditation, and yoga - the way that you do it is entirely up to you - but it must be done.

It is important to note that the vast majority of the work that a person has to do throughout the trajectory of their life is self work.

This is a powerful fact, and one that, once taken into full consideration, can change everything we experience for the better. There is no time like the present, so go inward and face yourself exactly where you are - and fully commit to doing the work. In order to hold ourselves accountable, here are four empathic reminders that are sure to help:

  1. We have to put effort towards healing our wounds if we want to function without fear. Defensiveness, apprehensions toward vulnerability, and low self-efficacy can block us from healing - so release them.

  2. We have to strengthen the personal in order to better the interpersonal. If we do not facilitate a strong self-awareness then our ability to interact healthily with others and the world around us will inevitably suffer.

  3. Suffering is impossible to avoid, so be grateful that the universe allots us an abundance of chances to get it right.

  4. Some days we should work to acknowledge all that we already done versus all that we still need to do. Take it easy on you, because you're good, you're trying, and you'll get there.
